Hi Guys how are we all?
i was traverling at speed around 70+mph hour when suddenly all the lights on the dash came on stero and mile counter went off lost all power on excelerator......... was on my way to the hard shoulder when it went back 2 normal but was so scarey will be telling peugeot when it goes in just dont no what to do about this car only had it bout 3 weeks from dealer.it is going back to monkeys!!! for mainfold probs but just wanted to know what this cud be.as i think im gona be DOOMED with this car...(cry,cry)

Don't know for certain but there may be a fault code stored that Peugeot can read?

Suggests faulty speed sensor,
I suppose it could also be crankshaft position sensor although that tends to affect starting more I think. I'd get speed sensor checked first myself.
Let us know what Peugeot say won't you.
Hopefully when you get all these little problems sorted you'll have a nice car to enjoy the summer. Shame the previous owner couldn't have sorted them before getting rid!

thank you monkey i will be ringing other monkeys on monday as they told me the part for manifold wud be 1 / 2 weeks and has been 2 weeks this monday so hopfully it will be going in and all will be well as i love the car to bits just dont want probs all the time......but i will keep you posted as soon as i no anything!!!thank you monkey!!:lol::lol::lol:

Oh monkey one more thing (sorry) i have been getting probs getting in to revierse gets in eventualy!!! is this normal???? dont think so but never had a peugeot before.or is it just ma again worring about probs!!!!! dosnt happen all the time just now and again,,somthing i was gona tell them about when it goes in!!!thanks again !:hyper:

Hey guys update!!!!!......got my baby back to day they have fixed manifold prob and reset somthing about the cutting out!!!!!! it was like driving a new car sooooo quiet was really happy.......BUT.....a few hours later on driving to work i heard the rorring sound again not as bad as b4 but there a bit if you get what i mean ...
is this normal as its a new part or have the monkeys just bodged it up!!! i was so happy now im worried again!!!!!
