Hey there,

I'm selling my old 206 after upgrading to my new cc, and had left it on the drive without turning it over for a few months (I know, I know...), and unsurprisingly the battery's as dead as a dodo.

I just wanted to check, if I unlock the door using the key so that I can open up the bonnet, will the alarm go off??? And if it does, will I be able to turn it off?? (As far as I'm aware the fobs are fine, they've not been used since Christmas)

I'm only asking omeone else's car alarm went off at 6am this morning (which was what prompted me to run out and check mine, discovering that it couldn't possibly be mine as the battery was so dead), so I'm frightened that if I set my alarm off and can't turn it off now I may get lynched by tired people!

Thanks for your help!
Nicola :)
