Hi, im new to this site. I only joined today as i wanted to see if any one could help me with my small issue.
I live up a really small road and hooligans zoom up and down it, twice when i have gone to my car now have i found that my wing mirrors have been knocked inwards, i have a scratch on one now and i have only had the car a few months grr.. I have absolutely no idea how to put them in by myself though. i have a 2001 2.0lt i didn't get the manual with the car (grr again) i have tried to push the mirrors in but they wont budge, i don't want to do it too hard as they may break. has any one got the same model car and do they know how to put th mirrors in if so? Are they electric and or am i just being dim??? Any help much appreciated.
:/

Hi Missy,
As for a handbook for your car you can find one on this forum.
Look here and save a copy on your own hard drive:

aw, you guys... lol, thanks, i went to the garage today and looked a total iDIoT lol, your right Reap, the man gave them a push and they went in. Doh. You kinda have to lift the arm connection (the bit that moves) up a tad though as otherwise it just wont budge.
Gave my car a clean and now its all spangling but now....Ahhhhhh it it wont stop beeping, filled the water up, a man put some oil in (worked a treat mite i add) but the beeping is sooooooo annoying, someone tell me y its crying purleeease... It only does it when i drive. boo!! Not having much luck with the new CC sniff sniff.

You're welcome Missy. I didn't put it on the site though, you have someone else to thank for that. There are lots of posts on here about constant beeping. Have a search around and you'll probably find one to help you. If you've had the bonnet open have you made sure you've closed it properly. A relative had a 206 hatchback that beeped at him after a service and the bonnet sensor was telling him it wasn't closed properly. Could be another problem though. As I say search the forum for beep, beeps and beeping.
As for your question ExPatMat the handbook pdf was created in December 2003 so maybe it is a later one than the one for your 2001 car.
