Hi,
I'm new to the group - I've joined 'cos I've got a problem (OK, not the best of reasons!).
I've trawled through a few roof problem threads, but can't seem to find help with this one ....

I was driving home today - had the car (2002) for 3 months with no probs - when the STOP warning started flashing, and the car diagram indicated a roof problem. I stopped and put the roof down, then up again - no problem - but the problem persists. And what's more, when I try to lock the car on the remote it locks, then unlocks again (but will lock with the key).
The car seems to be working OK, the roof seems to be working OK, but clearly the car thinks there is a problem ....
Any ideas gratefully received! :love-thx:
Thanks,
Kim

It's OK guys, I've managed to sort it myself.
Did a bit more trawling through the forums, and found some messages about microswitches. Didn't consider that the boot catch might have one - which also explained why it wouldn't lock. Tweaked it a bit with a screwdriver, and hey presto! Problem solved.
But I'll stick around ....

Kim (much happier now)

Hello Kim, and welcome to the forum.
Glad you found what you needed to give you the information to fix the microswitch in the boot. Where exactly is it located? Might help others...
