My horn isn't working. Bought a new horn (which is working, tested it), connected it but it does not work. That means that the connector is broken, the cable is broken or the connector at the steering wheel is broken.
To avoid me bringing my car to the dealer and ending up with a high bill and probably some new wiring andor comm 2000 i have thought of a work-around.
I am going to connect the new horn directly to the battery and attach a 1 pound switch (ON/OFF) in between. I want to attach this switch to my dashboard. In order to do this i need to make a hole in the dashboard to connect the switch and get the wiring through.
Does anyone have some pictures of how a 206 looks when the dashboard has been taken off? Where is the easiest way to attach the connector? I don't want to break any wires. Is there some hole in the airco system where I can get the wires through?
Any help is really appreciated!
