If you like cleaning your car then get a black, if not then silver. Black will look better, but silver is less maintenance.

Test drive will answer your questions about the car really... ;)

haha that exactly what i was thinking ...black gets dirty easier ...but looks so much cooler:D ...i suppose i cud just pay some little kid to wash it for a couple of quid lol
but then again black will show dents and scratches a lot more than silver ...and it will be my first car, so i expect there will be quite a few dents and scratches after a while lol.

My blacky is two years old and hasnt got a single swirl mark on it...

If you ditch the sponge and wash with a good qualty lambswool mitt the paint quality will remain perfect ;)

Got it new for 13k something I think. They aren't worth so much now, pugs depreciate very badly.

Welcome to the forum Dave. Are you definitely after a 206cc, or might you go for a hatchback? What is your budget, then we might find a good one for you.
Best of luck,
Ron
BTW The 5 months to August will seem like the longest time ever. But one day you'll look back and think, that time went in a flash !!

I just sold my 206 hatchback! It was my first car after I passed my test and I loved. It did me proud! I bought direct from a peugeot garage for my first car just because it had the full service history etc and I got the 12 months warranty etc. My only recomendation....and this may make me sound boring... is watch out on the engine size. Mine was a 1.1 look... if I had got a bigger engine I would have got carried away with the power and crashed big time. For a first car/first time driver make sure your careful... plus insurance wise it's better too!

You'll love a 206, I did. So much so I've just bought a 206cc... in black (higher maintenance but looks damn good!)

Good luck in your search!
