I am organising a charity event and basically inviting as many car clubs as I can to participate if they should wish. The idea has been named ‘CCs For Charity’ (Car Clubs For Charity) and already has several clubs interested in joining us. It’s not just Peugeot clubs but in fact any who will join us.
The idea stemmed from something we wanted to do personally, and then evolved into something we could do to raise money for charity, namely both Cancer and HIV research – Terrence Higgins Trust have confirmed so far, we are awaiting confirmation from the cancer charity.
This is the plan so far, it’s still a work in progress and is certainly subject to change, we are merely in early planning stages, contacting people who can help and also getting permissions for the dates but wish to gauge interest. But we want this to go ahead and are damned sure we'll give it our best shot.
Our date is planned for the 1st August 2009 (again this could change but it will be a weekend). We will depart from John O’ Groat’s, around 16 hours of driving, and 840ish miles later we would arrive in Lands End. Earning ourselves the title of being an “End to Enderâ€
