Hi all 1st post been having a good nose on here!! and u lot seem 2 now ur stuff!! lol Rite basiclly ive been driving just under a year and looking 4 a new car!!
Keeping my options open but got a 206cc in mind!! really really like them espc the full leather!! really nice... not looking 4 a brand new plate say a 02-04 that seems 2 b my budget!!
rite here goes.......... Are the roofs a pain in the arse and tend not 2 work often lol.... Is there a limit of how many times a day u can drop the roof? i now thats stupid!! is there any majour bad points about them?? Most importantly which are the cheapes on insuranec??........... and last but not least isit a girls car??? Please help thanx again Jamie

We've had no problem with ours but they are not idiot-proof! Follow the instructions exactly else you can expect problems.
Is there a limit of how many times a day u can drop the roof? i now thats stupid!!
No, but I make sure I always have the engine running when operating the roof. That way you don't flatten your battery!

The 2 litre ones seem to have manifold and hydraulic tappet issues. The 1.6 ones seem to have fewer problems. Make sure everything works perfectly before you buy, and take a long test drive.

People that have had problems with the roof have usually tinkered with it or not operated it properly along the way.
I would say when operating the roof to give it respect, operate exactly as instructed and DONT turn the car off when its opening or closing... keep the engine running.
I had an 04 1.6 for two years and worked great. All cars have problems don't forget
