REMOVAL - REFITTING DOOR GLASS

1 - REMOVAL

Change the vehicle into the coupé version .

Lower the window .

Remove :

• THE MIRROR CHEATER
• THE DOOR TRIM PANEL
• the sealing sheet
• the door interior weatherstrip
• THE DOOR EXTERIOR WEATHERSTRIP

Remove the door window to gain access to the sliders (1) (2) .

Remove the securing bolts (3) (4) .

Remove the glass .

Remove the rear slider (2) by detaching the hook (5) .

2 - REFITTING

Refit the window rear slider (2) .

Engage the window in the box section .

Place the window at the bottom (A) and forward (B) .

Tighten the fastenings (3) - (4) .

Reposition the door window at the lower stop .

Fit :

• the door exterior weatherstrip
• the interior wipe seal

ADJUST THE WINDOW .

Test operation .

Tighten to the specified torque :

• the securing bolts (3) - (4) : 0.8 ± 0.15 m.daN

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

IMPERATIVE : fit new seals, which must be assembled without folds and tears ; the bearing surface on the interior panel needs to absolutely clean ; run a wheel over the parts of the flange to be bonded ; these recommendations are essential to prevent possible entry of water, dust or noise .
