I have to admit that the TT did start the new Coupe era, styling wise, but it's still got a Golf chassis ffs ;)
And the wrong wheels are driven! There's a trick diff, which "occasionally" diverts some power to the rears, but fundamentally it's FWD. Can't help thinking they got the Haldex diff in backwards ;)

if i hadn't needed to swap the CC for a new car then a Z cabrio would be at the top of my list. i have never liked the TT a great deal and there are far too many about where the Z is very rare around where i am.

well you both are speaking from a great deal of experience as you both have obviously owned and driven both the TT and the Z for a long time. thanks for such an indepth insight into your experiences, oh and pass on my regards to your mate VBH

owned a TT, nope test driven the 3.2 yes. Own the Z oh yes.
With regards of the TTs being far too common, it's only fair haven't they been around since 1998?? The Z is rare coz thank god Nissan is deciding to keep the numbers down (they sell enough in the US anyway  ) so since launch there are approx 2500 cars in the UK excluding imports.

Oh and VBH would NOT just be a friend, if I had the choice ehehehe 8)

Don't need to. I know that I don't like FWD cars and wouldn't spend decent money on one. I used to have a proper AWD car (Subaru Impreza -- permanent AWD like the Quattro system fitted to Audi A4s) and that was OK if a little boring. But "pseudo-AWD" -- no thanks, unless the trick diff's in the other way round like in the Nissan Skyline.

But yer pays yer money and yer takes yer choice. I'm pretty sure that a lot of people wouldn't want a car made out plastic that costs just shy of £1000 to service, but I've got one.
