Car goes loooovely!

Though after rain , I noticed a few drips of water fall on my leg from the roof as I got into the car this morning...umm... now lets see, where have I encountered that before  I know, my old CC !! Looks like SLK's do the same thing, so forum members shouldn't feel so bad as the problem must be in the gutterless roof design.

Managed to find a great valet at the moment., again in Haywards Heath, outside next to the train station, an old chap has taken over with a Sri-Lankan hardworking Tamil as his assistant, needless to say they did an excellent job on both mercs.

Only problem is, they sucked out a rubber bung that holds the new carpet to the floor, I found a hole in the carpet the next day

Phone call to the valet co on Sunday revealed they found the rubber bung but when I went to collect it it had been run over a few times

A quick phone call to Mercedes on Monday" I bought 2 SLK mats the other day, one had a rubber bung missing" " no problem sir, come down and we will replace the whole mat for you" now thats service for you :D :D :D :D :D
