Cheers guys, I have a pretty extensive list of insurance quotes. Damn quotes one place wanted 5 grand 5 Grand I tells ya! I have got it down to 680 with elephant but I will try AXA, CIS and Tesco shortly.
Had enough of the Insurance quotes, if I have to fill in another of the online forms I think I might start to cry!
Just want to drive my new CC!

I can back up Mattb experience. My girlfriend had exactly the same experience. They tried to charge her something like 40 pounds to change her car insurance. This was more than 600% than that which was stated in there charges booklet. We refused to pay. :x
CIS I was with them when I was younger and they were superb. Although had to change companies as they couldn’t give competitive quotes on sporty cars.
EAGLE STAR- Crapp
Adrian S Flux- Similar experience as with Elephant.
Royal- Now (More Than) Very good. Helped me out when Eagle star let me down. I even had to claim whilst with these guys and still no problems. However they couldn’t beat Direct Lines quote on the CC.
as someone mentioned them, don't even think about adrian flux.
i went with them last year as they were competitive and only had a few hours to get a policy as when axa cancelled mine they put me down to 3rd party cover for 7 days which wasn't very useful
i phoned adrian flux to move my policy to a courtesy car for a day - with any company in the past it has been free - they wanted £21 and charge silly fees for anything else that requires paper work.
i need to renew in a few weeks and won't be using them again so matter how cheap they are.

Adrians S Flux charged me for when I changed my policy to another company, even though my insurance year was up with them. :
I was already with my new insurer when out of nowhere I received a letter telling me I was being taken to court over 15 pounds. Which was supposedly some handling fee I had incurred. I didn’t know anything about it until I had the threatening letter. :
Unfortunately I was a little more naive back then and sent the money off straight away. I guess I was worried about loosing my 1-year NCD or being black listed. I have learnt my lesson since then.
The only good thing about there insurance was that they gave very cheap quotes on modified cars no matter what age of the driver.
