Well good for you :D Did you claim on your insurance or pay it yourself? If it went through the insurers, it might be worth mentioning that the scumbags were caught (or in court! yesssssss :D ) and are paying you - if you end up returning the money to the insurers, they might reinstate your no-claims. Or is that b*ll*x :?:

Hi Pauline,
I paid for the repair myself as the excess on my policy totalled £300.00.
If I claimed on my policy I would have probably been stung big time at my renewal!

it's not right that they are allowed to pay it up. they should sell anything they have .......... if they have anything or the courts should pay you and they pay the courts.

it may be a case that they get to pay it at a fiver a week. This happened to me when I was the victim of road rage with a drunk driver.

Took a year to get al the money, and it wasnt as much as you have been awarded.
