I'm trying to think how I'd spend an hour a week caring for my CC.

I mean washing it .. 15 minutes.
If you do it properly? Takes me at least an hour to wash it, and that's without doing the wheels properly.
Cleaning the interior (every week?) -- 15 minutes.
That about covers the hoovering. Then if you clean the leather, you can add another 1/2 hour onto that. Clean the windows, polish hoops & other bits and you're looking at well over an hour for the inside...

Yea you're probably right actually.

Do you treat your rubber seals with anything?

Any kind of waterproofing or anything?

Also I've seen this red-ex stuff you can put in your car .. worth using?

Haven't found the need to treat the seals yet.

Red-ex is pointless if you use decent petrol (super unleaded) to start with. It's probably also against manufacturer's recommendations and may even affect the warranty (as do oil additives).

Ive spent 7.5hrs cleaning mine before now,

cleaning interior , treating with liquid leather - top stuff 1hr
Cleaning boot & engine bay 1hr
Washing outside & underneath 2 hrs
Chamois dry and give mer treatment 2 hrs.
Buffing , tyre& bumper blacking 1 hr.
admiring & greasing seals .5 hr :lol:
