I left mine with the roof down at the garden centre the other day. Came back and found I had also left my mobile on the passenger seat! Trusting or what?

TBH it only takes 20 seconds to put the roof up, so why bother leaving it down?

Think of the mess a bird turd would make :ill:

i sometimes leave the car top down is when there is lot's of people like in the city streets. As also my car is equiped with microwave sensor alarm ;) so no hand or tools will be able to get into my to still things. :)
By the time the alarms goes off, it will attract most of the people to my car :)

On some places i'll live my roof up, example in carpark :)

If you leave the roof down, have nothing on the seats, keep the windows up and dead lock it.

Also be prepared for it to be used as a skip and as a target for bird droppings :x

One word of warning never go into a safari park with the roof down, espically the into the peugeot monkey enclosure!

I only rarely leave the roof down. And that only quiet streets.
I bought the CC because of the metal top. It goes up&down fast and easily. And when the roof is up, it keeps cans and papers out of your car... And in my street there are a lot of large trees, which a lot of birds like... I don't need to say more i guess... :?

If you do leave it parked with the roof down make sure your insurance will cover at least the car & preferably the contents against theft. :!: I made a point of asking when I took out the insurance for my first year, and when my insurer changed its policy I changed to another one who would allow this for the second. They even cover belongings in the locked boot and glove compartment.

I put the roof up & down as infrequently as possible, and only if I'm sure I'm going some distance or the weather will stay fine, because I don't trust it to go on working

I always put the roff up when I leave it. Its soeasy 20 secs at voila! plus you get an audience.

I have a terrible feeling that should I leave it down a nasty seagull will leave his mark.

Left my roof down and parked the car (was out of view for about two minutes!) On my return the only thing that was missing was my tax disc! I am still looking for a lockable tax disc holder. These bit's of paper are valuable to certain criminal elements that hang around! (No I'm not having a go at the aussies!)

What's a tax disc? is that the fuel cap? Doesn't that come with a lock as a standard then?
