The Oil Temperature take far longer to heat up than the water temperature gauge which should be in the middle of the dial console. **please correct me if I am wrong**

Anyway I guess it is all dependant on the weather and how hot it is since the oil would already be warm.

I don't think that there is a fault with the car. Mine is pretty much the same and most of the time hardly ever gets off the ground due to short journeys.

I did ask a Peugeot garage about it and they said it was nothing to get worried about and that it was normal.

So you should find the the oil will heat up quicker in the summer if we ever have one that is.. :smile:
