I thought the standard pug warranty was 1 yr manufacturer, 2 year insurance-based-dealer - at least that's what Renault said (who do 3 years manufacturer!!).

Go for it! Motorpoint was a doddle, but I'm glad I didn't do a personal import (with hassle like the certificate of conformity to sort out yourself).

I was worried I wouldn't get something standard on the UK, like electric windows but mine seems to be bulk standard. I'm pleased as punch. Good luck.

Thanks Pauline, you have settled my nerves a bit.

gmjones, if you had read my previous posts I stated that I was paying extra for the full 3 yrs manufacturers warranty. Hows your car coming along anyway? any news of when you can expect it?

Please help. I asked Peugeot HQs in Greece and they still have no answer from France about the warranty rearrangements. I believe they're lying. But how can I be sure that Peugeot in France has already complied with the EU regulations and at the same time all european dealers?? :???: :???: :???:
Any suggestions?
I LOVE to be OUTSIDER!

Hi,

from the dutch peugeot site:

Vanaf 2 januari 2002 zal er op elke nieuwe Peugeot personenauto en bestelwagen twee jaar contractuele garantie worden gegeven.

So we have 2 year warranty on all peugeot cars,
So holland is done, next country???
