Glad you have got your problem sorted. Where is the ECU located that you got cleaned? I wonder if that's causing my problem.

Hi James. Glad you sorted it. The reason I said take it for a drive with the sensor disconnected was if the plug is off, then you shouldn't get a reading.
If it goes to hot. then it points to a fault in the wiring (or related circuitry) In your case the ECU. It's good you were able to save it.
