Hi Zetec,

like someone said do check really well for leaks as many do and use the roof a couple of times just in case, £14,500 does seem about right but you can still haggle on the price

Cheers

Sorry clicked on edit on the one above d'oh, anyway -

yes if it's a uk car then you should get the rest of the 3 year warranty.

perhaps £15k is a wee bit high, it's so they can haggle on the price, is it from a dealer or private ?

Yes real sorry Zetec, I would have thought a Y reg UK spec model should fetch around the 14-14500K. 15K does seem a bit high if its around 12 - 18 months old, especially when if you had a little more budget, you could put an extra 18 hundred for a new one.

Anyway, I expect there is some room for negotiation, I'd check real carefully for worn tyres, bodywork scratches and the alloys - sorry if this is obvious but is their wear or damage? These areas are often expensive to put right and a good point for bargaining if its not perfect at that age.

cheers

Robbie.

I would check the alloys and tyres as Robbie said!
If it had a former owner like myself then the alloys will have been kerbed and I have had to replace my 2 front tyres ALREADY! (Yes I have only done 10K miles!)

What else do you expect from watching Gone in 60 seconds and The fast and furious!!!

also may be worth getting the details of the previous owner and contacting them to find out why they sold it if from a dealer.

you could end up with a CC like the one i rejected. the one you are thinking of buying could have been rejected or the owner may have been fed up with problems and got rid of it.

derek

p.s. may also be perfect as well

p.p.s. did you see that flying pig ?
