It sounds like J is the one to tackle first. I think your idea to try a complete open and close cycle is good. If that does not help, check whether there is the possibility of mechanical adjustment to J, so that it does contact the mechanism correctly.
Wire colours can be misleading, as they vary. The only way to be sure is to check what they are attached to.

Re: Fast beep roof alarm during driving - Window and Roof fa
Ok, i just tried to drive the roof. No chance. By using the Roof Button, it gets beeping while pushing the button.
I checked more the E and J Switch and the parallel distance of the right and left bootcover outer borderline side to the boot line. The right handed distance is ok. One parallel line. the left one shows exact a distance line of 1,5 cm along the line of the boot cover.
So the left side isn´t close for sure / or not in end position. I realized that there are 2 wire ropes. I think they will close or open the hooks of the upper boot. the left wire ropes are a bit loose, the right ones are tight.
How to get the ropes on both sides now to fix the boot cover and closing the switches ??? Or how to bypass the left one ?
I only could try now to open the roof manually , but would that thighten the wire ropes ? Think no.
Now i need you guys again !

News: By pressing the left boot cover side against its frame for 5 mm the Switch clicks. There is a plate with two golden torx screws, seems that there is the chance to move the hook lock plate nearest to the switch that it clicks. Now i have to buy a torx set first.
another idea is the wire rope. there are screws (female screw to adjust distance) if i am right ?

Lots of information on the boot mechanism at http://www.peugeot206cc.co.uk/repair-20 ... ab0af3.htm and http://www.peugeot206cc.co.uk/repair-20 ... bh2vf3.htm. I found them with a Google search - you can get to them through the "Repair Guide" link on the site Portal via the Contents item.
If you look at http://picclick.co.uk/Peugeot-206-Cc-Dr ... 68535.html you can see what could be an adjusting nut on the left of the picture.

a little bit to study :-)
Had anyone ever tighten that to fix the distance between switch and boot cover lock ?

Hey, I was not giving up and just, i bridged (connected both pins) of the upper boot cover switch J
to see if the constant beep while drive will be stopping. Connecting the pins. Still beeping.
I begin to hate that beep really.
Could the beep come from the deactivated front-seat passenger airbag. i deactivated it a year before and it never was beeping. Airbag anomalie shown in display since that.

Re: Fast beep roof alarm during driving - Window and Roof fa
News: With bridged Switch J - connected both pins. I was just able to close electronically the boot perfekt. The side that was not really closed is fine now. I repeated a full roof open and close cycle , all fine. But now same as last week. The front windows could not be raised/closed with closed roof.
One step forward, two steps back
What you say guys ?
Greetings, Frank

Sounds like the striker switch(es) again. What are you using to spray? WD40 is not very suitable as dirt will stick to the residue. Use switch cleaning spray.Franky wrote:.... But now same as last week. The front windows could not be raised/closed with closed roof.

Re: Fast beep roof alarm during driving - Window and Roof fa
Best News, I just wanted to do again electronical opening of the roof, so i would be able to close the windows for tonight and closing the roof manualy again. But i tryed first to open the boot cover (3-4 seconds (with the bridged J Swicht - connected pins) After 4 Seconds I closed the boot cover. Then i testet the windows. no funktion. Then i opened the front striker roof catches and repeated 4 sec. open and direct closing the boot cover. After the bing I closed the Striker roof catches, Chime and now WONDER.
The Windows raised and the constant beeping while drive is terminated.
YIPPI. We got it guy´s, I am very greatful for your help - especially "IanL. & Capncol" and the great documents available here. The next summer comes.
Hugs Franky

I'm surprised that the boot cover would move with the latches closed - there must be holes in the roof ECU logic.
Now, it seems you only have to fix switch J - hopefully tightening the cables will do that.

Re: Fast beep roof alarm during driving - Window and Roof fa
Over the winter time i will be doing only optical, cleaning and so on. No more checks and test at the Roof. It will stay closed. The upper boot cover locks are fixed and "J" is fine, Windows ok and no beeps , as it was only the end locking sequence. Your tip of connecting the pins was the winner trick. So it was possible to drive the boot cover and telling the ecu the end of cycle. " I am not professional in this roof issues" but with your tips it comes out. And the contact spray sure does it´s job too. I am happy to be able to deal with that roof issues in the future and driving the cc is now much more satisfying for me.
