REPLACEMENT BOOT LOCKING CABLE

1 - REMOVAL

Change the vehicle into the coupé version .

Open the luggage compartment .

Fold up the tray (luggage cover screen) .

REMOVE THE BOOT COVER TRIM .

APPLY THE PROCEDURE FOR LOAD REDUCTION IN THE HYDRAULIC UNIT .

IMMOBILISE THE BOOT COVER .


Remove the clip (1) and the pin (2) of the strut at the top .


Rock the strut of the fork (3) .

Detach the frame side rings (4) .

Completely unscrew the fixing (5) .

Detach the cover towards the rear of the notch (6) At (A) .

Release the cover with the cable and frame fork (7) .

Remove :

2 - REFITTING

Replace : The boot locking cable .

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

IMPERATIVE : replace each of the retaining clips each time work is carried out .

Test operation .


NOTE : in order to ensure that the release operation of the boot top cover is correct, make a precise adjustment using the knurled nut (B) .
