Boot Lock

hi. does anyone have any ideas where i could get a new boot latch, mine is broke and rattles as i drive, ive tried ebay but no luck.

Have you tried Peugeot? Sometimes their parts are cheaper than you would think.

I had the same problem it cost about £34 inc vat from Peugeot (bout a month ago)but if ur in Yorkshire area you can have a look at it and see if it's the same part you need and you can have it for £20 because someone crashed into me last week and it's a right off.

Oh no! What rotten luck yorkielassy. After you had the cambelt and water pump replaced last year too.

I hope you get a decent settlement from the insurers so that you can get a good car to replace it.

hi yorkielassy. What massive shame, im in staffordshire. the part i need is the latch in the boot not on the boot lid.

Does it attach in the boot via two screws with a wire (with a plastic covering) and a connector.Thats my part that's available.Sorry dunno it's official name.

hi. i think its the same one, mine is a funny shape, two screws and a connector wire goin to the left side of the boot. my car is 54 plate quicksilver. ive took a photo but unsure how to send it on here.

capncol- yes thats the part. Think im taking it to peugeot to have a look coz dont know if easy take wires out.

Wires are on a plug, the bolts you can see. Only possible problem is adjusting it afterwards.

Did Peugeot fix the boot for you baby girl?
The third party offered a decent settlement and got my "new cc" car a few days ago n love it although will miss my old one.
