Cam Belt Timing

Hey All,

Anyone know anything about cam belt timing? My dad is doin my tappets tonight and, although he's been a mechanic for nigh on 30 years, wanted to know if anyone had any details about the timing just in case it goes a bit pear shaped!!?

just make sure he also paints the pulleys to the car as well as pin them and paint woodruff positions to engine(cause you gotta take cam pulleys off
tensioner has arrow that goes between to lines.if over the lines the belt will whine like an old lady.
other than that pretty straight forward.

Thanks bud! It's all sorted now! So glad to get rid of that bloomin' juddering!! Fitted an induction kit too so sounds well nice now too!
