Hello, I am a newbie to this site and have now owned my 206cc for 3 months and am loving every minute of it :)

I would be grateful for some advice from you guys. I had a problem with the petrol gauge (basically the tank would never show full only 7/8's full) and more recently the gauge went up even after a 150 mile trip. I took the car in to the dealer and they did a BSI upgrade. The petrol gauge is now fixed BUT now when the hood goes up and down the warning signals to complete the process have stopped. Has anyone else had this happen? I will take the car back to the dealers but I wanted to ask for some advice in the meantime.

Many thanks.

Hi Julee, thanks Reap. I contacted my Dealer and booked the car in again so hopefully they sort it - they said it's the roof sensors and had nothing to do with the BSI upgrade they carried out on Monday (although it was fine up until then so who knows!)

I'll keep you posted Julee.

I bet reap is right. They'll just wanna charge you for new sensors!

Otherwise it is a strange coincidence, is it not?

Hi Ron,
This is what I thought, the car was fine until the BSI malarky was done to it but it's under warranty so it's going back, and back again as long as it takes for the monkeys to fix it!
