Heading off to Australia for extended holiday later this year and was wondering if you could hire CC's anywhere? Flying into Brisbane and want to drive down to Melbourne via Sydney - I know we won't end up with much luggage space, but we can always pack light (ha ha!) or send stuff on ahead with the bus companies. Anyone know if and where you can hire a CC, and approximately what would be the cost for, say, a four to six week hire? Cheers x
If I'm not here I'm in Symi.....where the sun is always shining.....

I don't think they have enough CCs here for hire yet. There are many private backorders.

Yeah I think Trung's right. There are hardly any CCs owned here currently let alone for hire, as the supply into the country is little more than a trickle. Did a quick search on Google but came up with nothing.

The best you'll do for now is a 306 Cabriolet - "Budget Rent A Car". I'm an ex 306 Cab owner and loved it do death. It's not a CC and it's got a fair bit of scuttle shake, but will always remember it as my first convertible that converted me to convertible's.

Have a great trip - welcome to Oz!!!!!
