Hello... have had 3 fantastic years with my baby 206cc - but today I put a for sale sign in the window - went out with the roof down and then when I tried to put the roof back up - the top came completely over but the book lid stopped half way!!! Now either my car is rebelling and doesnt want to be sold or there is a problem! Called RAC out and they have put the lid down - as I had no pull cord and no A-Level in decifering the manual! Now the audio alarm for the roof sings to me as soon as I go over 6mph! Can anyone help?? I have tried to do the roof again but all I get from the activation buttom is a negative bleep. Thanks to anyone that replies. :? [/b]

You were right - about the money anyway - no such thing as a freebee in Dorset! Apparently it was the 'mechanisms that needed tightening' - I don't believe it though and £80 later my car is fixed! Amazing it only took five minutes!
