I origionally planned to get rid of my CC just before its 3rd birthday - to avoid MOT's and costly extneded warranty.

Thing is ... i think id miss the car (its just over 2 years now btw). How much should I expect the extended warranty to be? I know on my 206 it was an arm and a leg ...!

Or should i buy another brand new CC ? risking ahving all those problems again that have been ironed out in my current model.

Perhaps a 307cc ..... not sure i feel like paying that much though.

Oh the choices ....

I extended the warranty with my Peugeot dealer for an additional £250 a year including AA cover, this was on a 406. It went up to £290 the 2nd year i.e. car being 5 years' old. This policy was the platinum option and covered everything and was well worth it.

Yes, but IMHO the 307CC is ugly in a way that the 206CC isn't.

my opinion of the look of the 307CC varies everytime i see one - sometimes i love it and sometimes i don't. i think the back looks good altho maybe plain where probably quite a lot of people don't like it.

still getting one anyway altho i would prefer a 350Z roadster as order book is ready to open but then i couldn't afford to get my 2nd car and i'm not doing 20k miles a year in a 350Z - it would just ruin it.

I wouldn't expect the 307cc to be better than the 206cc. The standard 307 has had quite a few recalls and it finished 135 out of 137 in the Top Gear Motoring Survey thing (206 finished 121st).

You're a brave man to get another peugeot cc Derek ;)

As you like CCs so much, Derek, maybe you could compromise and get a Koenigsegg CC :D
