Hi there
Brought my 206cc back in january and am experiencing problems still with it - the peugeot dealers are at a loss to what the problem is, so i wondered if anyone here at experienced a similar problem.
Basically when on the motorway after about 15-20 minutes of driving the car starts to shudder/jolt especially at 80-85mph. Ive been told its not the tracking or balancing. The car continues to drive straight and when you accelarate further it stops. The car isnt recording any problems but the whole car shudders and jolts when it happens. Has anyone any ideas of what the problem could be?
Thanks
Jolting/stuttering movement on motorway at 70-90mph

You shouldn't be driving about 70mph so I assume the problem occurs on your private race track
I've not heard of this but can offer some wild ideas...
Firstly, do the engine revs drop when the jolt occurs? If so then it's an engine problem and not anyting to do with tracking, transmission, brakes etc.
Seeing as it's speed related, it could also be vibration related linked with the RPM of the engine. I assume it doesn't happen at lower speed but with the same RPM? When the engine heats, the metal expands and possibly there's a lose connection somewhere?
If it is an engine problem then could it be a faulty ECU (worth uploading latest software?) or possibly faulty sensors that are feeding back the wrong data? Or maybe it's a faulty spark plug?
All just random disjointed thoughts I'm afraid!!
