Never guess who I bumped into out here in Iraq the other day....

None other than Nick (Aimee's fella) :D

Not bad going considering there are a few thousand troops here at Shaibah...

Does this count as the most unusual place for a "mini-meet"? :?

Managed to get a trip to Kuwait City last weekend and saw one CC (Blue) Most popular cars in Kuwait seem to be Boxsters (usually yellow - yuck)

In Iraq the most popular cars seem to be white Toyota pick-up trucks loaded with armed militia-men!!

I'm still as busy as ever with little or no freetime but time is flying...
Hope you are all well

Take care

CB

ps Aimee - you may be distressed to hear that it is my responsibility to ensure Nick gets home on time to you in April...Trust me - I'm a Mover ;)

 Blimey what a small world! Did you give him a big kiss from me!?!

Glad you are okay, how much longer are you out in sunny Iraq for?

PS You want to make sure you get him home on time matey!! I've booked us a VERY expensive holiday for 3 days after he gets back!!! If he isn't home I'll be personally holding you responsible! (only joking) And if you can get him home a few days before that would be even better as he can then help us move house! ;)

Blimey Aimee - I've only been here 40 days...haven't had to resort to kissing Paras yet!!!!

and Riss - I thought about that offer you made when I was there, too bad I didn't get the address of you, I'm sure your mum and dad would have loved 4 tooled up grunts on their doorstep with automatic weaponry!!

CB

ps Thankyou for the blueys you guys have sent so far, it really does mean a lot. Again, thankyou :)

I spoke to Nick yesterday he said you were only staying 50 yards away from each other (is he exaggerating? bless)

Pah, can't believe you wouldn't give him a kiss!

When you see him next, please remind him to bring his passport home, I keep forgetting and if he doesn't bring it home I'm going on holiday on my own! I can handle the double jacuzzi to myself ;)

I've got your address now, I'll write you one of my lovely not too boring blueys next week! (gotta support our troops and all! )

Yep - its true...Me and Nick live probably no more than 50 metres apart (in seperate compounds). Actually we've had a bit or trouble with 2 Para tonight (its all kicking off outside as I speak)

Riss - as i said before I would be willing to answer any questions abot Iraq and stuff that your kids have...and I promise not to swear too much at the fucking little bastards.

Hmmm, well you don't need to put Iraq in cuz that is related to the BFPO number, think the unit is the F.M bit and the sub-unit I'd stick the Shaibah in and the next bit (ship name I think :? ) don't bother putting anything there, but I'll check for you tomorrow. CB manged to get Nick home for me! :D

...although, I haven't seen him yet, last heard from him lunch time when he was in a pub in Colchester! So moving house on my own tomorrow :(
