REPLACING REAR LIGHTS

Hi everyone. :wave:

quick query - is replacing the rear lights with original lights a big job - have bought a 206cc with the lexus lights but not really my cup of tea How long do you reckon it should take time wise bearing in mind im not really that mechanically minded - nothing to do with being female mind you!!!!!!!!

oh i'd say about 3 mins per side :D

open the boot and behind each light there's a flap in the carpet, lift the flap and it reveals the rear of light there's just one clip and one plastic wing nut which may need abit of force to loosen once done the lights just pop out with a bit of jiggling then it's the reverse of what i've just said to replace the lights, i think :D

Do you actually have the standard lights yto put in? i'm sure most of us have a set in the garage we never thought we'd be able to sell if you dont! :D

No, don't need to buy a set - the dealer had the original lights that were taken out by the last owner still boxed in the workshop!!!!!

thanx Lyndon for the advice

had the lights fitted as quick as you said.
Car looks loads better - lexus lights just seemed to blend in to
the car's colour.
