Collect on friday

Hi all
First post so card behind the bar for a round,
Guniness and black for myself...

just put a deposit down on a year old 2.0cc in blue, pick it up on friday.... cant wait , even booked sunshine for the day .

Good to see a lot of activity on this site, it has proved most helpful.

I did manage to check the car over yesterday (Sat) during sunshine and after the rain and good news..... not a drop (or even puddle) in sight within the car. I did manage to get the roof down in the test drive - that sold the car to me.

The only problem was that as the car was on gravel and a slight slope when I opened the door if I did not shut it within a reasonable time the water spewed off of the roof all over the seats ! Is this common? Just glad it has leather interior.

Anyway, if anyone sees a car blasting around somerset on friday afternoon it may be me.

yes it does let water in when parked on a slope and you open the door or driving with the window open when there's water on the roof as the design of the roof doesn't have the little gutter's that most other cars have to channel the water away

but these little niggles can be forgotten when the suns out and the roof's down

I have to admit that I keep a little towel (brand new, bright and cheerful colour - my car only gets the best :rolleyes: ) in the car for when that happens. I've got leather seats but if it's raining hard, the seats can get very wet and then you get a wet patch on your a***
But as Lyndon says, all is forgiven when the sun comes out
