squeeky noises

:D hi all need advice on a squeeking noise coming from roof or window on passenger side .if i unclip the roof on passenger side it stops for a while but soon returns after 2 or three minutes it is driving me up the wall.car is 2.0litre agean blue 53 plate no mods yet.thanks in advance. :D

Hi rabmcd,

Well i also get that irritating squeeling noise now and again but it usually stops after unclipping then reclipping the roof clips ....

I guess this aint been much help ha...... :rolleyes:

do a search for silicon grease/spray as the subject of squeaky/noises rubber seals as been covered a few times :D :D

Was having the same problem and found a solution in this post:

Found the stuff in Halfords with no probs and applied it this morning...haven't had any squeaking so far...fingers crossed!

it may need re-applying every other week or so or when it starts sqeaking again :(
