Depends on which direction you travel and also which cabin you are lucky(or unlucky) enough to be in on the flight ;)

I don't mind a few hours difference westward up to the east coast of the US but really suffered from it going to las vegas.....kept making the mistake of falling asleep too early and waking up in the middle of the night...
no problem coming back as I slept all the way in the plane in a nice comfy near 180 degrees flat business seat........oh and please Miss stop waking me up to ask if I want some more champagne! ;)

Well this is the dictionary definition of jetlag:

A temporary disruption of bodily rhythms caused by high-speed travel across several time zones typically in a jet aircraft.

So in my experience it does exist as I was totally messed up when I came back from the USA!

It's just that when I came back from San Francisco last year, I got bumped up to Upper Class on Virgin Atlantic - Wow....how the other half live or what!!! Got the full works - 3 course meal in the lounge at the airport, another 3 course meal onboard, in-flight back and shoulder massage, drinks all the way from the on-board bar, almost fully flat seat-bed which I managed a full 6 hr sleep then been woken up to the best bacon butty I have ever had for breakfast. Didnt stop there either... a power shower and more breakfast when I got back into Heathrow in Virgin's Revivals lounge :D :D :D

If only I could afford to travel like that all the time!!!

true, for long flights (8hrs +) the difference is MASSIVE! I sometimes miss working for them, so apart from flying for free and going to VERY exotic holidays (and getting LOTS of discounts in most hotels - 50% being the norm) for only 100USD I could fly business!
