I want to find a good company to host a couple of websites i've been building, i've found out about loads of different sites and have had some good recommendations, so i just wanted to ask all the website owners out there who hosts your Domain and Site, what it costs and what you get for your money :?: :?: :?:

Cheers All

I use seem (http://www.seem.co.uk) to buy all my domains and I also have a site hosted there. They're not the cheapest around but their support is excellent and I've never had any problems with them.

Sorry Greenday, I can't help you. I actually have no computer myself or even access to one. I actually get sent this forum thru the mail by Lyndon, and I reply by sending him dozens of little post-it notes and he replies on my behalf. In actual fact, I've never even seen what this website looks like... :?

Thats OK CB, just open a tin of baked beans, smuch em into a kind of paste, and write on it in black ink. Alternatively next time you see a firedance cc passing (that'll be lyndon then ;) ) imagine that with typing all over it.

(runs & hides before da boss hunts him down) :D

uk2.net -- big cheap used to use em, if you go for the cheap package you end up with pop up banners everywhere

can also vouch for uk2.net. use them, cheap enough and no pop-ups. they will let you use free space and direct your domain to it and still only show the 'proper address' not the free one. with no pop-ups

i think its the free deal that they host that comes with pop ups
