Ok, just brought my CC to my dealer and asked them what they did exactly to get rid of the squeaky breakes i had.
They put in other brake-pads (for free, under warranty) and the part number i got from them is: 425259

They worked for me :D

Hope this will help others too.

The weird thing is Peugeot made these to stop the squeaking. So they basicly admit the problem..? But I got a brand-new car with me (206 quicksilver: nice on the outside but the inside  ) and i asked them if Peugeot France fitted the new brakepads in the facelifted models, but they didn't :?

First they will use the squeaky ones untiil they run out of them (well, if the keep recycling all the returns this can take a while i guess  ).

My Dealer showed me a service update and it is to do with the 206, 206cc and 307 range they have Bosch calipers and in it they suggest putting this grease on which of course everyone knows only works for a short time, Peugeot know of the problem but wont issue a recall I suppose because its not life threatening. the part number 4252.76 that Izzy has put up is the same one as my dealer has ordered and its being done Under Guarantee my car is a 2001 built 206cc and so if you go into your Dealers they should all do it under guarantee and have received the same letter one thing is that the Dealer does not keep the pads in stock only Peugeot UK has them.

RTF I believe you already know the reason that our brakes are squeezing (if you have red the previous posts about this of course). It's due to non-asbestos material of brake pads that Peugeot is using for environment-friendly matters. So there is no cure about it but only replacement of these with asbestos ones.
Ask your dealer what kind of pads they've put. Perhaps they've put the same pads (non-asbestos) as you had before, but these are new ones so they may not be squeeky...yet! Or perhaps they've put other pads with asbestos material, so squeeks are over for good.
I LOVE to be OUTSIDER!

No, they are not the same pads (so my dealer says).
And the problem does not only due to a non-asbestos material.
Because all car manufacturers are not allowed to use it anymore.
And most of them don't have the problems we have with our 206's :?

I had mine done 2 months ago and not a squeal since... :D
and no, it hasn't been standing still ;)

Just asked the part number today so maybe some of you can be helped with this...
It's allways worth to ask i presume?

Yes it is RTF as you can see my dealer is going to put another type of pad in so I'll se what happens and I hope it goes away even if it's still there a little bit.
