Driving up the A229 to join the M2 heading back from Maidstone stuck in the roadwarks, some t

t decided to drive up the empty lane next to me even though it was coned off and smacked my drivers mirror. after fist shaking and a few expletives later while still statinary I got hit again no damage on both counts apart from the 2nd car that hit my mirror I thinkscratcheed his nice white colour coded mirror on the black edge of mine I have a couple of scratches on the outer edge now. Very p:censored:

did you get their reg no. If you did and they didnt stop then go and reportit to the police. The will get possibly 6 points and lose their licence for failing to stop at the scene of an accident.

Go give em hell.

If you didnt get a reg then why not??????

I got both reg numbers plus a colleague of mine was sitting alongside me. not likely to pursue though

at hit my rear bumper and alloy. So I went straight to the police station but WPC Plod told me that it's only the offence of "failure to stop" if there is DAMAGE - and Ben, you say there was none? Plod won't do anything then.

WPC also said that the w

nker would get my name and address and the fact that he threatened me in the street - even though he drove into ME from behind - and said if "you think your car is damaged wait until I 'ffing damage you" to the point where other car drivers stopped to ask if I was OK... well, it actually meant I was chicken and just went to work and used Tcut to get the marks off instead. Except for my alloy

And I'm still really pee'd off about it. In my dreams, I think of lurking at the same spot on my bike one day with my black visor and massive motocross boots and follow him home and accidentally kick his door, leaving no damage of course hehe

But it's all in my dreams

Look what you done now, gone and set me off on one! Sorry Ben, it's such a wind up and in the end, those twits aren't worth raising our blood pressure for, eh?

No. I agree no visible damage to the mirrror anyway apart from a scraped edge that you can hardly see anyway. Pursuing a claim is more and needless hassle IMO.
