Hi, I don't know if anyone has had this done or even if its possible. I have a 1.6 which doesn't have the sports bumper and I really like the look of the sports bumper with the grille. Does anyone know if you can have the bumper changed in order to have the grille? If anyone has had this done could they let me know how much it cost them?

Hope this makes sense!
:)

I think you can get the grill for the normal bumper but can't offer any more advice than that coz I've got the 2 litre! Tried calling Pug to see what they suggest?

I hadn't realised that the 2.0 and 1.6 bumpers were different.

You can get the SP Grille for the 1.6 non sports bumper though and having checked the brochure yes the 2.0 is definitely a deeper air dam at the front. Bumpers should be interchagable but won't come cheap from Peugeot :(

Agreed that it looks better though.

That would explain not seeing a difference when I bought mine :)

Brochure still shows a green 1.6 with the smaller "mouth" though.

i personally quite like the abbes front bumper :D

cuz i'm guess pug will want about 200 quid for a sports front bumper and another 100ish for the mesh grille so there is your 300 quid for an ecosse bumper

sorted :P

NickiB,

I have a 1.6 with the smaller bumper and the corresponding mesh grille. You can see it at:

Can't remember exactly but about £160ish. That was fitted and everything at Peugeot dealership. I know it was definitely cheaper than the 2.0 grill.

Cost me 185 quid for the grill for my bigger bumper.
