screw in boot

I found a screw loose in my boot this morning, should I be scared, I can't see where it could have come from :yikes: :yikes: :yikes: :yikes:

take it out of the boot, otherwise u may hurt ur foot

I walked into the spamspam yesturday only to discover a flying object, bracket of some kind falling to my feet!.

Can't understand which direction it was coming from. Not from the light above and the windows were closed :shock:

what kind is it? if its not a 'star key' then it isnt belong in the car... if it is then hmmm... dont drive over big humps? :lol: (in AU anyway, screw arround the boot area are all star key) i reckon most likely to fall off are those 4 tie down hooks in the corners

I found one too on the second day i had my car.
But i couldn't find a place where the screw should be.
Just thought they lost the screw during the assembly of the car.

And it hasn't fell apart yet...

I found the same.
It turned out the screw is from inside the cabin. (The latches that you open to release the roof, if you open the latch you will find a screw there.) Mine had vanished and made its way to the boot somehow. Simple 2 second job but took the Monkeys a while to work out where it had come from.

Well the latches go into the boot with the roof so quite possible ;)

I found also. it was under the drivers seat (in seat rail). I never asked the dealer about the screw. I think someone has dropped it :lol:
