The Alloys aren't Vauxhall!

Tempest Peugeot alloys thankyou very much! Thank god for that!

I managed to find out when I took a trip to the dealers to pick up my minging luggage rack (Ugh!) which I am not going to use but it should have come with the car so I made them get me one.

Also managed to solve the rusty engine problem....... Twas the exhaust manifold which is cast iron.... looked at several new cars in the showroom and they were all the same.

Ahh, well it's good to be different! You'll just have to replace your headers/manifold/downpipe for a nice crome one. Then you can be a real hot rod! :)

Out of interest does anyone know what happens when you try to put the roof down with a loaded luggage rack??

I haven't got one, but was pondering this!

You never know Vanda you may have to use it if you take your cc on holiday!

Have already worked out if I slice my passengers thinly enough they will fit in the boot, my case will fit on the back seat and they wont need any luggage!

I think there's something in the manual about not using the roof when something is on the rack.

Vanda, did you think you were going to get something else when you ordered "the rack" for you car? ;)

This is what the manual says about luggage on the boot(rack):
!! WARNING !!
The roof must not be operated when a loaded luggage carrier is fitted on the boot lid.

 Oops...
What happened over there...?
That's one jealous Tigra so it seems (they are called Tigra's over here). It only didn't thought how to close the roof again... Well we can't blame a vauxhall for not thinking clearly huh?

And when that happened people started staring at you and your car...and since then it never stopped :D

Yeah it was a Tigra, after finding someone staring through the hole they had made in my window at 5 am one morning and me telling them to ....go away!.... They came back 2 days later, bust my new window and stole my stereo, realised there was a changer in the boot and they punched 2 holes through either side of it. Luckily it was bolted in so they couldn't get it out.

Eh... Ok it sounds like they really like stereos and yours was missing out of their collection

But your CC is now in the same parkingplace as that Tigra ? :|

Or have you boobytrapped it by now?

(or you can always leave the roof open for them so they don't have to break the windows anymore...)

Yes it's still parked there most nights of the week, I found out it was one of these gangs who get dropped off in places in the early hours, and then get picked up after they have stole as much stuff as they can.
They came from the same place as I work..... I've probably taught one of them in the past!

I just say that to fix the window afterwards they'd best use some sticky backed plastic!
