I'm looking to buy a new 206cc and have been told that you can buy thenm at varying prices depending on where you are in the country! Is this correct and if so where in the country should i buy?
Another option is importing or I've found a few sites on the internet that offer discounted prices. Has anyone used either of these methods to buy there car? Are there any companies you could recommend to me or warn me to stay away from?
Thanks very much
Emma

I'm not really the guy to ask but the others will be about later.....
Welcome anyway.... ;)

I'd be suprised if Peugeot had any offical policicy of different prices in differant areas. But if they give their dealers any flexability on price cars are bound to be cheeper where competition is greater but it is iup to you to drive the price down by play one dealer of against another.

Many here have succesfully bought from importers. but there are pros and cons such as waruntee and delivery times on or low value trade in. Car super markets such as Trade sales or Motorpoint offer good deals they import and you buy from their stock. Advantage is you get a cheep car quickly but choise can be limited cars can have sat in the yard for a long time and you may well appear as second owner on log book.

Ther has be a lot of debate on this issue try a search for imports.

Hi emma

Dont know about price difference etc, but if you buy in the UK I would recomend buying near the end of the month, if your lucky you will find a sales person desperate to hit his/her sales quota and therefore willing to give more discount to make the sale.

But I guess that goes without saying :D

Hope that helps.

Hi i just registered today, i have been looking for a 206cc like mad but i don’t seem to be getting anywhere. have you any advice ?

What engine would be best (I drive like a mad women bear in mind  ) I am told the 1.6 is group 11 insurance and the 2.0 is group 14 are there any probs specific to the engine size that you know of?

Where did you lot buy yours from and if you don’t mind me asking what kind of deals did you get?

Sales people drive me up the wall ! ! ! ! !

yup i;d second that.......

unless insurance is gonna be a problem for u cause ur like 17/18 go for the 2.0 :D

and leather is a must too :D

i didnt get a great deal when buyin mine cause there was a 20+ week waiting list so was just glad to get it.

but importing can save u 2-3 grand easy if u wanted to go thru that route
