Help my clutch keeps squeeking when I lift it up off the floor, its driving me nuts !!!! How can I stop it !!? :oops:

hummm I already do that so I can't hear my roof creaking .. but its not always convenient / safe :shock:

Cant be any worse than my squeaky brake peddle, and im not even gonna mention the brakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :? :? :x

Ive a squeaky brake peddle and my brakes are a nightmare when stopping the noise from the squeaks is unreal :x

err indeed .. my breaks are squeeking again 4 weeks after they cleaned them ... but not as bad ... thing is it only does it on light breaking .. which is what I do all the time ... humm .... arghh!! Its not bad enough yet to go back :D

spooky my clutch and brake pedal have gone squeeky too, i'll have a look 2moro with a can of WD40 in hand, i guess it's just the springs on the pedal that just need a little spray here and there :D :D :D

humm .... well I thought about that but was told it was best not to do that and get it looked at properly cos it will be the cable thats squeeking.

./.. and I dont know the first thing about car mechanics so I cannot comment for or against this recommendation :oops:

in my old 106 it was just the springy pivot point of the pedal but i'll have a look b4 i spray anywhere :D :D :D :D

That reminds me of that old VW advert where there is a squeak in the car and they trace it back to the woman's earring!!
