Does the engine loosen up?

Checked the 'average MPG' figure after my run from the dealer in Calais to my house (115 miles). 26.9 mpg from a 2.0

I hope this is going to improve as the engine loosens up :rolleyes:

Actually I kept it below 4000rpm for the entire journey. I have a Scoob that has better fuel consumption than this, and nearly twice as much power! Mind you, it hasn't got a funky interior and the roof doesn't retract

done 630 miles in mine,a mixture of motorway and town,not been trying to get good fuel eco,just enjoying the car.

looking at compo my av is 36.9 miles.

I reakon you got concrete in yer boots

I managed a tank reange of 420 miles at 42 mpg. never likely to repeat it in this cold snap

forgot to say,that was with the air con on all the time,not sure if it makes any diff

7500 miles in 6 and a bit weeks = 33.6 mpg, and nothing i can do can get this any lower! anyone had problems with the display not moving at all? it has been on this since just after i bought the car.

my average is always around 32.5mpg and is half and half between motorway and other driving.

i could try and take it easier to get higher mpg but if i was so obsessed and tight i would have been better to buy a 206 1.1.
