Now the summer is over and winter is round the corner I was thinking about getting heated seats installed. I have failled to find any in the UK but have found a company in the states that will supply a kit to put a heater underneath the seat fabric Duetto Motors. Does anybody know anything about doing this or actually have it done to their car? Very much looking forward to cruising around with the roof down and a warm bottom!

Thanks
Neil

My friend has a lotus elise. He had a real job when he tried to install something similar. He had leather seats and was told that with leather seats it is impossible to get the heaters underneath the leather without causing damage. In the end he replaced the seats with new ones that had a massage unit and heaters! I can find out where he got them from?

 Should have got that one really seeing as it was actually titled "seats". In my defence I found and skimmed it and missed that bit, sorry.

Hi Matt,

They were leather. Obviously its a lot easier to put the motors and heaters into the seat before you cover it in dead cow!!

Well, I have spoken to two dealership's and they wouldn't touch the suggestion with a barge-pole. Also sent an email direct to Peugeot but might have well sent it to Santa Claus frankly. I have however found an electrician and a car trimmer who will do it but will charge around £100 each per seat and can't guarantee that it will even work for very long. Think I will give up on this one for now but may start thinking about it again in the cold mid winter. Better invest in a warm fleece I think, now does anybody know how to beef up the heaters
