Motor Not Working

Post by Chance »

Good morning everyone,

I'm writing to hear your thoughts on this issue:

I've installed the FlyMotion electronics controlled by Mach3 and configured it according to the manual. The motion section consists of a Nema 34 12nm motor and a 1000 resolution encoder. The ACME lead screw motor is connected via a two-stage pulley, and the lead screw can move.

When performing pitch motion, I first tried connecting the shaft, then using the unloaded motor as I assumed. The problem was that the motor power was too low, but all three motors were faulty at this point, so the driver might also be faulty.

The only problem is that the connector polarity is reversed, so I'd like to know how to identify the polarity on the motor? The motor wiring diagram shows the pins, but not the wire colors.
