Road side assistance costs

Hi again.
I've been with the RAC now for well over ten years and I've never called upon them once for there help.
Over the years there monthly price have only increased by small amounts, but since COVID there annual prices have gone through the roof.
Each time I've got there eye watering increase I've called them and asked to cancel my membership ,only for them to knock the price down to an acceptable amount.
Once again it's happened again today.
Its gone up by £80.
I'm not paying that and I'm fed up of calling them each year to negotiate a better deal.
Can anyone recommend good decent no nonsense break down cover.
It doesn't have to be all bells and whistles,
Just nice simple break down cover to which I can fall back on in the event of my car leaving me stranded.
