We've decided that we're going to have to sell our 1.6CC - Liz is pregnant and its not really a family car!

Its 3 months old with 3500 miles on the clock.

How much would it be worth? and whats the best way to sell it?

From looking in auto trader there are 1.6 CC's selling for 14 grand with 2000 on the clock. One selling at 13 grand with 6000.
The problem is now the import companie have got hold of the CC.
An old friend phoned me the other day to tell me that he's getting the same car as me (2.0 S.E with leather) but in silver for just under 14 grand. I think some people would rather go the the new/import route than buy second hand

Yep I agree. I am importing my 206 cc (2.0 SE with all the trimmings fo a little over 13.5K) and to be quite honest there are a few advantages. One for example is that the lead time is only a few eeks more than if you bought it from a UK dealer. Also in my case, as the import company is such a big one,of which bus a lot of cars from peugeot they tend to give them better service. My company have told me that even something as small as the drivers manual being missing they will make sure it is all there before I even ouch it. Peachy : )

IJRussell where you from in the country and what you planning to swap for.

People can perhaps give you more informed answers or know of someone in there area thats after one quickly.

Just shows folks - you should all put in the town you come from in your profiles

I'm kinda wishing that I held out for an import. That saving of over 3 grand would be very useful. And it may take longer but that extra cash would ease the pain.
I have a friend who bought a Ford Puma via the import companies and he recieved excellent service.

and there was me thinking that the CC would hold its price quite well...

Bedford based (updating profile shortly!) and will probably get an A-Class or a Scenic.

I should have added that its got full leather, sports pack and alloys.

I am in the process of importing through Micronetshowroom.com I got a great price of £12997 including leather and metallic paint on a 2.0 SE. I would warn you however that their customer service to date has been rubbish. I ordered 1st August and was quoted 16-18 weeks. I should now be getting my hands on it at long last next week. They are terrible at returning your calls and mails.
