Reverse light stays on

Hi all,

I'm new to this site/forum having only purchased my 206cc a couple of days ago.

It's an 02 plate and seemed fine on purchase but have since found a couple of niggly problems with her.

I've found that the reverse light is constantly on?? No matter what I do as soon as I turn the engine on they come on and stay on. I've been told it's possibly the sensor switch by a friend but thought I'd check to see if anyone else has had the same problem.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Probably the gearbox switch as your friend said. Take the bulb or fuse out for now.
