Brake fluid level low but it's full

Post by Nickyandalan206cc »

As above but it's full and the brake icon and stop signs are also on dash. Could it be the sensor/switch by the handbrake? Or any other ideas.

Thanks

See page 28 of your owners handbook. If it isn't the brake fluid then it can also indicate that the handbrake is on or hasn't been released correctly - so yes, it could well be the sensor/switch by the handbrake.

It can also indicate a fault with the Electronic Brake Force Distribution system if lit simultaneously with the ABS warning light.

Or the brake fluid level sensor.
