Scary day for my WILD

Post by Deanne »

You know how it is the first time something big happens in your life.

Well my car Wild is about to suffer the very first parts replacement that is not the usual exhaust and tyres. He needs the front upper wishbones replaced (both fronts)due to detraining bushes. :(

Seeing as it’s a 2001 car and 79000 miles on the clock I think he’s doing very well “the last was whispered, as you know what happens when you say things out load – it all goes to hell in a hand basket lol)

So as a treat for him I’m thinking of him having a full service ( dare I say that this will be his first  !!!!) I’m such a bad woman  – but as they say be mean and keep him keen lol

I hope you are not looking for praise !

Since it would seem that your cambelt, waterpump and tensioner have not been replaced in 15 years, you are fortunate that the engine still runs. Delay not.

And .. it doesn't have any upper wishbones .. not on a 206 anyway .. just the two lower ones

I hope they fit the proper CC/GTi variants or it will be back in the workshop in no time ..
