Hello from The Netherlands

Hi all, I am an English ex-pat living in The Netherlands and have just bought both my first Dutch car and my first Peugeot! I was thrilled today driving home in my lovely new 2001 206 cabrio, in the sun with the roof down, but my joy was short lived - when I pulled up at my house, I pulled my key from the ignition at exactly the same time my young brother decided to shut the roof!!!! Panic stations, I am now with a car whose roof doesn't work and have had to do a manual closure, which has left the roof not fully closed I have no money left after purchasing the car so I'm very upset and disappointed to say the least Any help or advice would be VERY gratefully appreciated.

I often say to new owners that most problems are self-inflicted. A search of the forum should provide the way forward for you.

Then read the owners manual front to back to avoid future mishaps. Get your young brother to read it too.

Panic over, I found a great feed on the Roof forum, followed the instructions and now have a fully working roof. Great Site, i'm sure I will be visiting often
